Kingsbridge Dental Laboratory is focused on providing high quality restorations from a range of techniques and materials. Our technicians are trained in what I believe to be the best techniques available at this time and we continue to learn and adapt to new procedures, techniques and materials.

Service, communication and teamwork are the main contributing factors to produce successful treatments. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver top quality dentistry on time, at a competitive price and with excellent technical and logistical backup.

The Team

	Julian Dorey. (GDC 138911) Julian has worked in the laboratory since 1982 and is now the owner of, and chief technician in the lab. He has taken numerous courses on all aspects of restorative dentistry and has also been published in trade journals on subjects like ceramics, implants and occlusion. He has given presentations of his work and techniques in the UK and USA. He is a co-founder of Surgatech training which will deliver practical CPD training to dentists and technicians within the UK. Julian also has a small lab within a dental practice so that he can gain valuable experience of working with patients. Kate Wester Kate has worked in the lab since 2005, she has previously worked in the model room but now is principally working on ceramics. She works with metal ceramic, veneers and alumina crowns and bridges.She is also responsible for our WolCeram (alumina) copings and bridge substrates. Carmen Hopping. (GDC 146451) Carmen joined the lab in 2007. She trained in Germany where she worked mostly in orthodontics. She worked in laboratories and in the Hospital environment in Germany before moving to the UK in 2005. Carmen now works mostly in ceramics including EMax for which she is responsible.
	Lynn Satterley Lynn joined Kingsbridge Dental Laboratory in 1980. Her main duties include overseeing model production, trimming dies and preparing all cases ready for production. She also creates layered temporary restorations from diagnostic wax ups, does repairs and additions, splints, stents, gum shields, bleaching trays .......... Lynn's very busy! Russell Taylor (GDC 139367) Russell trained at Mathew Boulton college while he was working in a prosthetic laboratory in Birmingham. After a few years out of the industry he has come back and now is responsible for most of the goldwork and implant substructures produced in the lab. He also works on milling and special attachment cases. He works with magnification on most cases.
	Tammy Stone BA (Hons) Tammy joined the lab after having completed her degree in silversmithing and jewelery design. She has been working in prosthetics for most of the time she has been here, and is now in charge of this department. Sarah Slope BSc DenTechnology (Hons) (GDC 163271) Sarah completed her dental technology degree from Cardiff in 2008. She is currently training with Tam in prosthetics.
	Natalie Elliott BEng (Hons) Natalie has only been in the lab since 2006 but she has been put in charge of our Lava design system. Her background in engineering and previous experience with industrial CAD/CAM systems makes her ideal for working with Lava frameworks.
	Sharon Widger. Sharon is the office supremo, she looks after the general running of the lab systems including the booking in/out and accounts, Health and Safety, COSHH as well as being our first aider. Every organisation needs at least one person like our Sharon.
